Facilitation Skills for Scientists & Researchers

Lead with clarity. Collaborate with confidence. Create conversations that matter.

In research, science, and academic environments, collaboration is essential — but effective facilitation doesn’t always come naturally. Whether it’s moderating a group discussion, leading a project meeting, or hosting a multi-stakeholder session, knowing how to guide a group toward shared understanding and outcomes is a critical skill.

Our facilitation workshops and sessions introduce scientists, researchers, and support staff to the principles and practices of facilitation. Participants will explore what good facilitation looks like, practise inclusive techniques, and build confidence in their ability to support meaningful dialogue in any setting — online or in person.

Facilitation frameworks include:

  • Liberating Structures
  • Design Thinking principles
  • Art of Hosting techniques
  • Technology of Participation
  • Tools for inclusive, action-oriented group work
